I got a warning and some annoying beeping when I tried calling this number. Seriously, NEVER ring it. I just ran a virus scan and powered off my computer. Make sure you don’t restart your PC for at least 10 minutes after.

My partner, who isn't great with computers at all, called this number and some bloke called "Henry" said there was a hacker trying to get into his PC, insisting we had to buy some security software. When my partner said that I usually sort out this kinda stuff, "Henry" just told him to call back later and he'd sort it out for us.

I got a call from this number and my phone flashed a message saying my personal emails, bank details, passwords, and credit card info were in danger. It warned about several severe infections and urged me to contact Windows certified support immediately at 0800 410 1026. I just hung up straight away since I already have virus protection and didn't get why all that stuff was showing up on my screen in the first place.

Honestly, this looks like a total rip-off. I got a warning on my computer from Windows saying there was a security problem, but it turned out to be a scam. I cut off the call straight away. Seriously, avoid them if you don’t want to get fleeced.

While I was surfing online, a notification popped up from this number claiming, "Urgent notice to BT Public Internet users: Your emails, banking passwords, and credit card details are compromised! Several critical threats found, contact Windows Certified Tech Support immediately on 0-800-410-1026 (Free urgent call)." My computer locked up completely, so I had to force a shutdown. Once I restarted, everything seemed normal again. I'm currently doing a full antivirus scan just to be safe.
