It seems this individual who contacted me via text believes I'm someone named Seth, claiming we’re in need of some sort of debt management assistance. The message, sent from a mobile number, included an 0800 number, advising that we should give them a ring to go over our supposed debt situation, or reply with 'quit' to the number that sent the text. At the moment, I'm simply getting rid of these messages. No chance at all that I'm going to be sending a text or calling them back!

It appears that there's a group of individuals convinced that our name is Ramjit. I receive text messages from them roughly twice a month.

I had a rather perplexing experience with a company called SMSing, who seem to be acting as a middleman for another outfit known as DebtLine. It appears these folks have their fingers in several pies, using various brokers. Honestly, SMSing deciding to cut ties won’t do a lick of good and will just end up draining your wallet. We did give the 0800 number a bell, and I must say, the lady we conversed with was quite pleasant. She assured us that she’d relayed our details (thankfully, not our mobile number!) to their marketing team. We’re planning to draft an email and send a formal letter of complaint to DebtLine over this whole situation.

Outrageous, isn't it? I can't fathom how these individuals keep calling utterly random numbers. We received a text that bore our name, which is rather alarming. It's painfully obvious someone has peddled our information without our consent, and it's infuriating to say the least. I'm certainly not amused by this situation!

I keep receiving texts from you twice weekly, inquiring about our interest in Debt Management services.

What’s the deal with these random calls? It’s baffling how some folks are reaching out to numbers out of the blue. I’ve received messages that clearly reference our name, which suggests that someone has passed on our details without consent. It’s beyond frustrating. Quite frankly, I’m really not happy about this at all!

Managing debt, is it?

It appears that there’s quite a bit of chatter around this number. From what I've gathered, these individuals seem to think they're entitled to contact us regarding so-called debt management services. One of their messages came through our mobile phones, mentioning an 0800 number, perhaps hinting that we should ring them up to chat about our so-called needs. Alternatively, they've suggested sending a 'quit' text if we're not interested. Truth be told, I've simply deleted the message. I have no intention of responding to either their texts or giving them a ring.

Indeed, we've been receiving similar text messages from these individuals. It seems they’re on the lookout for potential business opportunities. Given the current financial strain many folks are under, it's not surprising that they might get a fair few responses to their messages each day. We can only hope that these characters are merely using random numbers and that nobody is sharing private details with them that shouldn't be disclosed.
