Received a rather curious message today: "Greetings from LoanfindersUK! Looking for a loan? Turned down by others? I can assist without asking for any advance payment! Call 08004089533 to stop this text.” I’ve no clue who they are, nor have I ever been in need of a loan. How on earth did they acquire my number? Should I send them a text demanding they cease contact? They keep messaging me every month or so; it's quite bothersome!

I’ve received a message that’s worryingly similar in tone. They're requesting that we text 'quit' in response, but it’s definitely not a loan company. Instead, these chaps are touting themselves as an injury claims service. The number is the same as before, and honestly, it feels like a massive scam to me!

The call was indeed billable. We're not entirely familiar with the text messages, but we suspect they may come with a fee as well.

Pleased to have come across Jade's remarks, as they've echoed my own predicament-dealing with a right mess here! I'm seriously tempted to ring them back after receiving what appears to be that infamous text message. That said, I reckon I'll save myself the hassle and just continue to fend off those pesky creditors for the time being!

I’ve had quite enough of those loanfinders UK messages bombarding my phone. It’s rather tiresome, to be honest. I wish there were a straightforward way to stop them from reaching out. And if that wasn't enough, they’re even clogging up my inbox with emails! How utterly frustrating!

Absolutely, we were rather gullible and believed their enticing promises. Desperation led me to seek a loan for a car, and I ended up buying into all the nonsense they peddled. Here I am, £30 poorer and still without a loan in sight. It’s infuriating to realise that no matter what these companies assure you, if you've got a dodgy credit score, you're basically out of luck! Honestly, it feels like pointless efforts chasing after false hopes and grasping at straws!

We’ve noticed that their messaging is strikingly similar. We’re keen to send a text back to say we've had enough. However, it doesn’t seem to give any recognition to the company involved; they label themselves as the trauma service for claims. It’s the exact same number, and it feels suspiciously like a scam to me.

We texted STOP, and it charged us the usual rate for a message. The reply we received was: "Thank you. The Richmond Group values your privacy; I shall now ensure that no further messages are transmitted to you via my server." Here’s hoping for the best!

Received a rather peculiar text today: "Greetings from LoanfindersUK! Are you in search of financial assistance? Denied by other lenders? I can assist you without any initial charges! Call 08004089533 to stop these messages. Reply STOP to cease further texts." I haven’t a clue who they are, nor do I require any loans. How on earth did they obtain my number? Should I text them to tell them to back off? They seem to bombard me with messages every month or so.
