I was just trying to search for something on my iPad by typing in "GOOGLE", and out popped this odd message with the number 44 800 4049738. Ever since, my iPad has been acting oddly-I can't seem to get it to work properly. There’s a notice on the screen with options to either "Clear" or "CALL", but every time I hit "Clear", it reappears without fail. Has anyone found a way to rid themselves of this troublesome scam? I never received a call from them, but I ended up with a dodgy notification that totally prevented me from using my phone. I'm inclined to think this is linked to a scam, as someone mentioned earlier. "Seems like this number belongs to a fraudster, likely an Asian bloke, who cleverly disguises his number. Rumour has it, he's also got some malware to automatically dial his own number just to fish for your bank details."

This chap seems to be an Asian gentleman involved in some dodgy dealings, employing techniques to obscure his phone number. Rumour has it he uses malware to ring himself repeatedly in an effort to snag your financial information. I've got a snap of him along with his actual mobile number, and I've passed all of this on to the authorities.
