A chap rang me claiming to be from Microsoft, babbling on about how my computer had been compromised. I quickly realised it was a con and promptly blocked the number. Definitely dodgy business!

Watch out for DTD Technology, they’re proper dodgy. When I called Microsoft support, these lot somehow managed to get control of my PC. Since October 2019, they’ve taken £1,677 from me and then came back again in March 2021 trying to rip me off for over £4,000. At first, they seemed legit and I thought the payment was for a lifetime antivirus covering all my future devices. Turns out it was all a scam. Do yourself a favour and block them straight away. If you’ve already paid, get in touch with your bank right away and report it to Action Fraud. Stay safe and don’t fall for it!

Be careful with dtd tech, they say they partner up with microsoft and ms solutionz, but I wouldn’t trust them! Stay clear!

Got a call from a place calling itself MS Solutionz. They said they’re linked with DTD Technology and even claimed to be working alongside Microsoft. Seems a bit fishy if you ask me.

So after running a full scan with McAfee, it picked up and dealt with a couple of viruses. The computer’s still kind of in lockdown mode until our mate who’s an IT whizz can have a proper look and tell us if it’s alright to go online again. For the moment, the PC’s functioning alright and all our files seem intact. Any advice on how to block this 0800 number for good?

These callers are definitely spammers. I attempted to call them back but the number didn’t go through. What’s the use of calling if you’re not going to get a voicemail because no one picks up?

I received a call from a chap speaking with an Asian accent, claiming to offer a complimentary holiday. He insisted on collecting all our personal details. The moment we declined to share our info, he became quite rude and threatened to call us daily. We're convinced this is a scam.

I can’t believe it-these individuals have managed to swindle our disabled brother out of a staggering £89! He’s already reported it to the police, and I’m just hanging about until they arrive. According to him, his internet provider somehow leaked his information, including some banking details! We truly hope they regret this. I’ll keep you updated on what the police have to say.

I received a call from someone with a foreign accent who claimed to represent a so-called holiday company at 145 John Street, London ED1 4BY-an address that, as expected, doesn’t appear to exist. Strangely enough, this person lingered on the line far longer than usual as we pressed them for more information. It’s quite rare for these kind of callers to stick around if you start asking questions, but we managed to keep this one occupied for well over two seconds before we became thoroughly uninterested.

I received a phone call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming that I had won a voucher for a family of four to enjoy a two-month getaway, which supposedly could be used anywhere in the world for free within the next two years. Following that, a gentleman with an Asian accent also joined the call, but it seemed he didn’t really understand what was going on. Honestly, we suspect this might just be some sort of holiday scam from a company named "Make Our Holidays." Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

It's a total scam, isn't it?

I received a call from an Asian gentleman claiming he could offer me a two-month holiday voucher for a family of four, redeemable anywhere globally. He provided me with an address, but upon my investigation, I discovered that the company, MakeMyHolidays, wasn't even registered at that location. When I asked for details about the office block, he couldn't provide any specifics. It was rather amusing, really-a complete scam designed to get you to part with £79.95! What a joke!

I can't believe what just happened to our elderly sister, who’s 89 and has disabilities. These individuals managed to deceive her, and I'm currently in touch with the police who are looking into it. The caller had the audacity to claim that his internet service provider had given him all sorts of personal information, including her bank account details! We sincerely hope they regret it. I'll make sure to share any updates from the police when I receive them.

What a lifesaver this website is! We were on the verge of making a purchase, but it turns out it’s a complete scam. The address they’ve given for St John's Street doesn't even belong to them!

An Asian gentleman called me, claiming to offer a holiday voucher valid for two months for a family of four to any destination on the globe. He mentioned a specific address, which I promptly looked up online, only to discover that the company "makemyholidays" isn’t even located in that building. What’s more, he couldn’t reveal the identity of the unit from which he was calling-utterly laughable! It’s clearly a scam aimed at fleecing you of £79.95. What a joke!
