I've recently had a rather dodgy encounter with some blokes trying to trick me into signing up for a new contract with Eon. They claimed I was already a customer, which is utterly untrue. They even mentioned that I settled my bills via direct debit, but that's far from the case. When I pressed them for details about my most recent bill, they just plucked a random figure from thin air, and guess what? It was completely incorrect. Definitely a bunch of scammers!
