About 0800 Numbers
A lot of organizations use Freephone numbers, with phone calls being free from all residential landlines and mobile phones. But, if you're using a business phone, you may need to consult your provider to check if costs might be applicable for dialing 0800 or 0808 numbers.
Other Numbers
This number is definitely a SPAM/FAKE one linked to a dodgy email pretending to be from PayPal's support.
Someone tried to withdraw money from my PayPal account to buy a gift card worth £699.
I got 21 identical emails, all arriving precisely at 8:19 in the morning - each said they were from PayPal.
Watch out - they look really real but I spotted a tiny difference: a single full stop at the end of the PayPal email address (PayPal confirmed it was a fake when I phoned their legit support line).
Scammers are everywhere these days, it’s really upsetting.
