My phone rang a few times and then suddenly stopped. I thought I’d call back since it was an 0800 number, which I usually trust. But when I did, I got this strange automated message saying I was a “valued customer” and I needed to press one, with no clue who they were or what they wanted. So I just ended the call. These kinds of dodgy calls are everywhere now. It really baffles me how much of our details get passed around without our say. Honestly, I wish we could just go back to the old days and scrap mobile phones altogether.
