On one occasion, I did hear a voice but it sounded like someone abroad. They said it was an issue with their Mumbai office accidentally calling UK numbers. I asked them to take me off their list. Later, I got through to 3 directly and chose the option to talk about upgrading my phone. When I spoke to them, I gave them the number that kept calling, and they confirmed it was their marketing loyalty team. I explained everything, and they promised to remove my marketing permissions within 48 hours. So yeah, it is definitely 3; probably some overseas dialler tech behind it. to stop that annoying caller, try saving the number in your contacts under a name like “annoyance” or “pest 1”, “pest 2”, and so on. once it’s saved, you can easily block it by going into the options or edit settings of that contact. works great for keeping those pesky calls away.
