I received an iOS notification on my iPad regarding my iPhone. I went ahead and made the call since it was an 0800 number, but I had my suspicions about it being a scam as they quoted me £50 for a supposed fix. Despite my concerns, I did provide them with my email address, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing untoward happens.

I've encountered an error message on my iPad directing me to ring a particular number for assistance. Just a word of caution-best not to dial that number! They seem to be trying to swindle unsuspecting individuals out of cash. Instead, I recommend reaching out to Apple’s official technical support; they're super helpful, quite amiable, and best of all, it won't cost you a penny!

My Safari browser completely seized up, and I kept getting bombarded by that pesky pop-up. Foolishly, I ended up dialling the number provided, and to my dismay, they now have my email. They’re demanding £50 to reset things, threatening that my system will completely collapse if I don’t comply. I’m in a right state and unsure of my next steps...

They quoted me £40 for a repair, and I asked how I could be certain it wasn't a scam. She got quite flustered with my question, so I decided to hang up.

I've received a call from someone claiming to be from Premier Tech, supposedly Apple support. Apparently, if you accidentally navigate to an unsecured website on your iPhone or iPad, a message pops up alerting you that your iOS has crashed, instructing you to ring this number for assistance. Notably, Safari completely freezes during this ordeal. They went on to request my Apple ID, which I refused to provide. In the end, they attempted to bill me £30 for what they described as uninstalling and then reinstalling the iOS system. It's nothing short of a scam - these folks are definitely up to no good!

Received a rather alarming text on my old iPhone 5s, claiming I had to reach out to iOS tech support at this number. They started probing for my Apple ID, which immediately set off alarm bells. I promptly ended the call and reported the number to Apple.com. It’s a relief that more folks are catching on to these scam operations!

I received an unsettling message online that claimed my device was infected with a virus, supposedly the work of a hacker who might compromise my financial information. It urged me to contact Chrome technical support immediately. So, I rang them up and, when I inquired whether they were truly affiliated with Chrome, the woman on the line snapped at me to stop my questioning and just speak. When I pressed further, she abruptly hung up. Determined to get to the bottom of this, I called again. This time, a gentleman answered and asked whether I was the one footing the broadband bill. I replied that I wasn’t. He then probed about who actually did pay, and when I admitted I had no clue, he similarly cut the call. Now, I can’t shake off the feeling that this is a scam trying to masquerade as Google.
