I've been receiving calls non-stop where nobody says a word, and to be honest, it's quite unnerving.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my internet connection - which isn’t true at all. I asked how many people he’d called already this morning trying to pull a scam, but he just kept insisting he was really from TalkTalk and even mentioned a service number. He read out the number, but I didn’t get a chance to see if it matched mine. He kept telling me I’d got internet problems, but I said no, so he just ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk. He said something about problems with our router according to their records. Couldn't make much sense of him, told him to buzz off and ended the call.

This person called again, already having my name and who my provider is. They started rambling on about some spyware nonsense. No matter how loudly I told them to stop, they just wouldn’t shut up.

It was pretty worrying when this bloke with a US accent called me and somehow knew both my name and who my internet provider was. He kept saying my account was infected with nasty spyware, which totally isn't true. I told him off good and proper before hanging up on him.
