Called at half past six, didn’t leave a message. We used to have a catalogue business and are signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, yet these calls keep coming. Back in the day, when everyone used British Telecom, I suppose that's when these sorts of companies would have to reconsider their phone providers to avoid the persistent ringing. Times can definitely shift, can’t they?

In my view, these callers are nothing more than a right pest.

BT were at it again, trying to push one of their TV bundles on us. We made it quite clear that they should document in their records to refrain from calling us ever again.

I've just received two phone calls in quick succession, both within ten minutes. It's becoming incredibly frustrating. We've registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so fingers crossed that will put an end to these incessant calls!

We reckon this could be some sort of BT sales team. We gave them a bell to cancel our BT Anytime Unlimited package, which is set to renew come April. Oddly enough, the operators mentioned it was rather premature to process that request in their system. Then, just about an hour later, we got calls from this number and another one, 0800285085, but neither time did they bother to leave a message. Quite peculiar, wouldn't you agree?

These blokes are incessantly ringing our phone! We’ve ceased responding to their calls entirely. One can only hope they’ll eventually catch on to the fact.

Received a call around half six this evening - didn’t leave a message, mind you. We're on the ex-directory list and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet these nuisance calls keep coming through. It makes you wonder, doesn’t it? If enough people reported them to BT, maybe these callers would finally think twice and switch providers. Until something’s done about it, I reckon we’ll continue to deal with these interruptions.

Hi there! It’s rather concerning when you notice that your former contacts have your number, and you've never actually shared it with them. It’s quite handy to remind them about the Data Protection Act, as it’s quite clear that if they’ve handed out your details without your permission, they’re on very shaky legal ground. It’s illegal for anyone to disseminate your private information to a third party without your explicit consent. In my experience, just the mere mention of potential legal repercussions tends to send these people scurrying off quite swiftly!

I can't quite put my finger on who this number belongs to. We've taken steps to block any withheld numbers, yet somehow this one managed to slip through, leaving no message at all. Quite odd, really.

We echo Gill's sentiments from earlier. This number called us twice today, both times quite unhelpfully and at inappropriate moments. It seems like whenever someone actually needs to communicate, there's a tendency for these individuals to simply not relay any messages. Whatever their intentions, it's frustrating that they never bother to pass along important information.

They called us as well, but who on earth are they? It’s incredibly important, so why on earth can’t they leave a message?

I've been receiving incessant calls from a marketing collective named NGT, who seem to be peddling various deals related to utilities like gas, electricity, and mobile services. It's quite astounding that they've managed to ring me not once, but four times a day over the last month! I’m ex-directory and have always kept my number private, so I can't fathom how they've come across my details. It's high time that action is taken against these persistent cold callers!

Can anyone shed some light on this number? We tend to be quite cautious and avoid answering calls from unfamiliar contacts, especially with all the scams circulating these days.

What a right headache these folks are! They call us twice a day without fail, yet they never utter a word or leave a message. Absolute plonkers, if you ask me!

Received a call from this number, but I'm quite curious who they are and when they contacted me. It’s quite puzzling why they seem to neglect passing on messages.
