Then came the phone call urging me to ring back on a number that didn’t ring any bells when I tried to call it. Out of curiosity, I decided to investigate, and lo and behold, here I am! To be on the safe side, I called Nationwide's official line (0345 730 2011) and they confirmed that they've indeed been dispatching such letters recently.
