Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he’s from the Credit Consumer Council. He said the Office of Fair Trading told them I’m having problems with payments and owe money... which is totally not true. Best not to pick up if this number rings you.

Absolutely! I had a similar experience. A caller claimed to be from NatWest, demanding all my personal information under the pretense of suspicious activity on my account. It’s definitely a ruse, so don’t share any of your details! I contacted NatWest using a different line to verify if they had tried to reach me, and they confirmed there’d been no call from them. It’s really alarming how persistent these scammers are. Stay vigilant, as they just won’t let up on calling!
