Been getting loads of calls from unknown numbers, didn’t answer but when I called back it said it was NatWest outbound. I’m just blocking them since banks don’t usually call out like that.

Just checked the number - I recently put in an application for a remortgage and this was them following up - IT WAS NATWEST! Normally I cant stand cold calls but this one wasn’t like that and actually seemed genuine this time.

So, this was actually a legit NATWEST number, but it was their own sales team ringing me up. They were pushing some cold call about a free mortgage review to check if I could grab a better rate than who I've got now. Bit annoying, honestly.

Didnt pick up cos thought it was another PPI call like usual, but they left a message. Turns out it was the RBS Mortgage team checking in after we got a Mortgage in principle a couple of days back. No clue why they’re calling since we’ve got a meeting lined up with their mortgage adviser next week. So yeah, definitely not a scam and not NatWest either.

Got a call but no one said a word, then they just ended it.

So, they rang me at 4.25pm on 28-12-17, I called them back and when they answered no one said anything. I kept listening for a good 5 minutes and was shocked by what I overheard in the background. Someone shouted "got another mug" and another said "that one had [email protected] coming out of his mouth." If that was Natwest, I’d say the higher-ups were definitely missing that day. It really changed how I see Natwest, if it was even them. Natwest management, you really need to sort out your staff training.

They wanted to chat with a Mr Antony. Funny thing is, that’s actually my first name, but I’ve never heard of a Mr Antony around here. I told them exactly that. What really surprised me was it turned out to be Natwest calling - and I’ve been with Natwest all my life, plus I actually work there!

Loads of people say this number is from Natwest Mortgages, which might be right. Thing is, I dont have any mortgage with Natwest nor am I interested, so I didnt pick up. Right after, I got a call from a different number, which I found on here too and also said to be Natwest Mortgages. They even called me from another number earlier today. I've just blocked all of them now. Its annoying they dont take the hint and reckon switching numbers will make me answer next time.

Sounds really suspicious. Some guy called claiming it was a friendly check-in from NatWest (I do bank with them). He mentioned he’d seen I pay mortgage instalments to a different company (which is true, but I never use my NatWest for it; I kept that bit quiet). When I asked how he knew that, he just got flustered and kept saying it was a 'courtesy call.' I ended the call straight away. Best to steer clear and don’t give out any info.

Got a call on my mobile, followed by a voicemail, then another call to the house phone. A friendly Scottish woman from NatWest rang to see if she could help me get a better deal on my mortgage. I told her we’d just sorted a remortgage with our bank, so she said she'd make a note of it and mentioned I could just disregard the voicemail she’d left. She sounded legit and didn’t push me for any details.

Got a call today but no voicemail left. When I rang back, the person said they were from NatWest, which is odd since I actually bank with RBS. I can’t figure out why they’d even be contacting me. As soon as they began asking for my personal details, I said no and hung up. I’m actually employed by RBS and this kind of approach goes against our guidelines. So it was either a genuine call done terribly or a scam trying to collect info. Either way, I’m blocking the number and it was definitely not a pleasant experience.

I got a call from this number and found out it’s from the mortgage customer service team at NatWest/RBS. They have offices in Glasgow and Birmingham. The calls seem to be for different reasons but only go out to people who already have an account with them.
