After paying, it sent me back to the Uber page like nothing happened. But then the following day I got hit with a £59.90 charge. I contacted my bank to dispute it, they told me it's actually some kind of recurring subscription fee. So definitely a scam, watch out!Uber2 yearsI got caught out by a site linked to this number that promised a contract for just £1. Turns out, that £1 only covers one day, and from the following day they start charging £59.99 every month without much warning. The site is connected to a Chinese platform and tricks you into thinking you're signing up for a food delivery app. After you put in your info and pay the £1, it swiftly redirects you to a media page, locking you into a monthly subscription.
