This number has rung me a few times but didn't leave any voicemail, so I decided to look it up here. Looks like it’s Golden Charter from what others have said. I actually got in touch with them a few weeks back to ask for a brochure after spotting their ad in the Daily Telegraph, but I didn’t expect to be bombarded with calls. After reading the reviews, I’m definitely not going to go for a funeral plan with them, and I’ve blocked the number now.

Got the same call again today. I've got a Golden Charter Funeral Plan, so I’m not keen on getting random cold calls. Loads of these are obviously scams from India. I missed the call but saw the number on 1471. I can usually spot those typical Indian accents since I lived there years back. I tend to answer with some cheeky rude stuff in Hindi, telling them basically to ‘bugger off’. If Golden Charter really want me, they can just send a letter like normal people do.

Got the same call again today. I've got a Golden Charter Funeral Plan, so I don’t really expect to be hassled by random cold calls. But a lot of these calls come from scammers in India. I was out when this number showed on 1471. I usually spot the typical Indian accent easily, since I lived in India ages ago. Normally, I just reply with some rude Hindi phrases telling them to ‘go away and do something with your goats’. If Golden Charter really want to reach me, they can just use regular post like everyone else.

Got calls from this number loads of times a week, always asking some Scottish guy's name twice before just hanging up. It's proper irritating. Why can’t BT do something about these pests and block them for good? Phone numbers shouldn’t be handed out without proper checks and info about the company behind them, and this info should be easy for everyone to find online.
