I've had quite a few calls from this number, and each time I've asked them to erase my details since they had my name and address. They couldn't explain where they got my info from and flat out said they couldn't delete it because they just wanted to ask some questions. The person on the phone was really cheeky and even raised his voice a couple of times when I didn’t want to answer. The latest call came from ‭07922 860111‬.

Just got off the phone with them and kept asking over and over for my details to be taken off their system. Instead of listening, the bloke kept firing me the same questions, and I just kept saying I didn’t know. Every time I didn’t give a clear answer, he’d go on with the same stuff. I kept telling him to delete my info, but he just laughed down the line. When I asked for his manager and mentioned how rude his mate was for laughing, he finally said they’d remove my data. When I tried to find out where they got my details, they said it was from a relative who filled out a survey but refused to say who, citing “data protection.” Not sure if they actually delete my info, but if they call again, I doubt I’ll be so nice. What a waste of time!

About a fortnight ago, I got a call from Savers Club. I told them straight away I wasn’t up for hearing their pitch and ended the call. Since then, my phone has been flooded with calls from proper companies - everything from wine sellers to takeaways. I reckon my number’s been shared around somewhere. Whenever I tell these businesses to stop calling, they’re quite understanding and sorry once I explain the situation.

Just got one a few minutes ago, and they needed a translator or something. Honestly, I couldn’t make out what they were saying. A proper firm wouldn't hire people who barely speak English to do cold calls. Every time they call, I have to tell them to speak properly because it’s like they’re babbling nonsense. Fill out their questionnaire but at the last part put a fake first name that starts with the same letter. After that, when you get bombsarded by firms from the survey under that fake name, post a bad review about them on Trustpilot explaining how awful it is that they’re linked to a dodgy marketing agency. They usually reply quick and hopefully it helps shut down savers club for good.

Got calls tonight from this Savers club lot using 07700 900267. They phoned me three times, pushing to chat with my partner, claiming they’d done some survey. Got a call from some guy called "Alvin" claiming to be from The Savers Club, that’s the third time this week. Seems like they always use weird English names for their callers. So, I got a ring from a company calling themselves 'Consumers Today' just earlier. Since I’m on the telephone preference list, I asked straight up for their official business info - like their registered company name and number, because any legit UK business has to have one, right? At first, a few different people kept saying they couldn’t give me those details and said they were an outsourced team based in India. Eventually, someone admitted that Consumers Today isn’t actually a registered UK company but just a brand under a bigger firm. When I asked who owns that firm, they refused to say. They threw a bunch of stuff about my consumer rights at me, then just cut me off. Well, at least I had a manager on the line for nearly 50 minutes, so that was something!
