Personally, I can't help but think that these calls are linked to the "Apexassure" scam, likely stemming from the data breach that D&G have faced penalties over. Got another call from Domestic & General today. They'd already rung me this morning, and I answered because I'd properly gone through their website to cancel three of my policies just yesterday. I've been receiving numerous calls from this number lately. It appears to be Domestic and General. A while back, I took out insurance for a kitchen device, and now they're constantly hounding me with letters as well. Just yesterday, on Christmas Eve, my husband picked up the phone and a representative was on the other end, wanting to speak to me. Yet again, they rang today, the 29th of December. Yeah, it’s D&G with a cancelled DD, but when I pick up, they just drop the call. Bit pointless ringing if they’re not gonna chat!! Same goes for the others, they might as well send a letter now.

I received a message from a rather articulate gentleman with a distinctly posh British accent who seemed to know my full name. I opted not to return the call. Just a heads-up-this could be a phishing attempt; they might have your information. Stay vigilant-SCAM ALERT!

It's Domestic & General doing their marketing calls. They began ringing me after a direct debit was cancelled due to probate. There's a recorded message telling you to call a different number if you don't want further calls, so I rang that one. But when the automated voice asked for my full name and phone number, I just hung up, a bit annoyed. I've since blocked the number using BT Call Blocking. Hopefully this info is useful.

Yup, this is 100% D&G and like some others have said, it's not a con. They're chasing up a cancelled direct debit cos I never wanted the insurance anyway. I've blocked the number now and will just ignore any emails and letters they send.

This has got to be Domestic and General. They phoned me because I accidentally cancelled my direct debit for my cooker warranty. The person on the line gave me all the details I needed to confirm the call was legit, and I’ve now got the new warranty papers through.

I told them yes, since I did cancel, but they still ring me a couple times a day, every single day. They’re also sending emails and letters nonstop. Honestly, it feels like harassment.

D&G. I used to have an insurance deal with them, cancelled it ages ago and now they keep ringing me like 3 or 4 times daily. Proper pushy and quite rude, never accepts a simple no. My dad actually had to step in and speak to them to make them stop bothering us.

I keep getting calls from someone saying they’re from Domestic and General about a fridge I’ve never bought. They rang me like 11 times in under 10 minutes! When I picked up the second time, the person on the other end was proper rude, shouting horrible insults at me. Really not acceptable at all.
