First an Indian woman rang me, but after I ended the call a few times, an Indian bloke phoned instead. He said he was with EON and needed to discuss renewal papers before sending them out by post or email. I told them to quit calling me and just hung up. Already had about five calls today!

They called me three times in less than five minutes, honestly so annoying. The woman on the line sounded really rude and didn’t like it when I told her I wasn’t interested. She claimed she was from E.ON and said my contract was about to finish. I really wonder if E.ON is aware they’re making calls like this? Because it’s definitely not winning them any fans. It all just feels a bit rubbish to me.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from Eon about business energy. I told her the number didn’t line up with Eon and she got really annoyed. Definitely a scam, I’m just blocking the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they were OPUS ENERGY and that they supply the energy at my place. I told them they were wrong, but they kept insisting a couple of times. Then they went on about closing my account if I gave my details. I’ve honestly never even come across OPUS before.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from Eon Electric. He told me my contract was going to end soon and even knew my postcode, so it's pretty clear they've got hold of my info somehow. I messed around with him for a while, then said I’m with the government and would have him nicked if he rang me up again.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Eon, but we actually use a different company. They said my contract was ending soon and asked for my info. I told them I wasn’t comfortable sharing anything on the phone, and then they just ended the call.

Got a call on my work line around 6.30pm, they left a voicemail with people talking and laughing in the background, sounded like they were outside somewhere. The message went on for nearly 2 minutes before it just dropped. Nearly rang them back, but thankfully I didn’t.

Someone rang me pretending to be from Scottish Power, saying my contract was about to finish and asking me to send an email. I said alright, but it all sounded quite dodgy. Turned out they weren’t from Scottish Power at all, so I just told them to jog on and hung up.

They rang up claiming they were my energy provider, but they definitely weren't. When I mentioned I'd been with my supplier for 24 years, they got all annoyed and even called me a liar. I just told them they must be the ones who started the call!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from E-On, my electricity provider. That wasn’t right though. I told them that I’d already had two calls like this from someone pretending to be them and I had told those people to stop calling me. The person on the line then started being really pushy. So, I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were Scottish Power, but the info they gave was all wrong! I just ended the call, but then they rang me again. The lady sounded really pushy, made me feel uneasy. Definitely watch out for these, I’ve already put in a report with the TPS.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying she was from our energy provider, warning that our contract was about to expire. Thing is, we just rent the office and have nothing to do with the energy bills. Told her the details were wrong and to take us off their list, but I’m not holding my breath that they’ll actually do it.
