What’s the process for reclaiming your cash or cutting ties with these folks? We gave them a ring, and they’re insisting on our card number to rummage through their records! Not a chance I'm giving that out! Absolute crooks, if you ask me!

This number was linked to some shopping channel.

We’ve found ourselves in a rather similar predicament. We categorically refuse to accept any freebies, be it in person or over the phone. Just today, we discovered an unauthorised deduction of £89.95 from our account, which has left us quite irate, particularly with a company like Pitch TV. Perhaps they should be called Pitch ‘N’ Snatch instead! We’ve also shot off an email to them, as well as reported this rogue operation in Northern Ireland to Watchdog. It’s high time we raised a ruckus about this dubious behaviour!

I recently received a rather alarming letter from my bank regarding a deduction of £89.95 by something called Poundsaver. I must say, I’ve never signed up for any such service nor consented to anything of the sort. This Poundsaver seems like a complete scam, preying on unsuspecting individuals and robbing them of their hard-earned cash. As a retiree, I simply can't handle these unexpected costs. It’s high time this company is shut down, and the people behind it face the consequences of their dishonest actions. Absolute thievery, if you ask me!

Well, it seems we've stumbled upon an unusual situation here. Instead of receiving a call, these individuals have levied a charge of £99.95 on our bank account, alongside an administrative fee of £1.60. Thankfully, my bank has provided us with the number 0800 107 73. Upon reaching out to them, these folks readily agreed to reverse that hefty charge. However, we’re left in the dark about how they managed to access our bank details in the first place. Any insights you could share would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed that £89.95 has been deducted from our credit card by 08001077333. We're not standing for this and will be reporting it to the fraud investigation team. I suspect it might be linked to Pound Saver, as they also took money from me recently.

I’ve noticed that some funds have been withdrawn from my bank account without my consent, and it seems to be linked to the phone number 08001077333 or perhaps 0800107733. If anyone could assist me in identifying the owner of this number, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much!

It seems we’ve got a similar issue with our account linked to this number as well. Like you, Zara, we only dabbled in some TV shopping a few years back, and that was a one-off affair. Our card's validity runs out this week, and we’ve got a hunch that these folks might have swiped money just after the expiration date. Could I inquire if your card's expiry coincided with the timing of the withdrawals? I've just contacted the bank about this, and they mentioned that Poundsaver is affiliated with JP Morgan. Intriguing, isn’t it? Aren’t they a rather large investment firm? In any case, we’re really hoping to recover our funds!

Pitchwell TV seems to be taking liberties by putting their clients up for this event, even when the clients have explicitly expressed a desire not to participate. It’s quite baffling, really!

Blimey, it’s absolutely maddening! People are claiming they haven’t received their vouchers or items, yet the cash has still been snatched from their accounts without a word of agreement. Just pay attention and think before you start spouting nonsense!

I can’t believe what’s happened! This company just debited £100 and then another £1.60 from our credit card without any warning. We had no clue about this charge, and we definitely didn’t consent to it. How on earth did they manage to get our card information? I've been trying to contact them, but it’s like they’ve vanished into thin air. This is nothing short of theft!

These individuals have swiped £2.60 from my mum's bank account, and just this week, they've also managed to extract £89.00 and £39.00. We had a word with someone from their team who claimed they’d sent a discount card, which, funnily enough, never showed up. They assured us another one would be sent our way, but it's all just nonsense and a complete con, if you ask me.

It appears that we’ve been scammed for £89.95 through our account. We made a few purchases from a television retail site, and when we requested a book of vouchers, we were led to believe that everything was above board. They mentioned that the vouchers would arrive in about 28 weeks; however, they never turned up. We reached out to the television company to inform them that the vouchers hadn't been delivered, and we expressed our wish not to pay anything further, but we've received no response. We’ve now reported the matter to our bank and are in the process of filing a complaint with the police regarding this fraud. I encourage anyone else who has encountered a similar situation to take action as well.

They’re at it again! The same old routine where they lure you in via television ads. Then, lo and behold, a week later you find a couple of sneaky £1.60 charges popping up on your debit card. My tip? Always scrutinise your bank statements after indulging in online shopping or better yet, steer clear of it altogether!

Steer clear of any TV ads that suggest your credit card details might be passed on to third-party companies like Pound Saver. It’s rather dodgy when you've recently purchased even a single item; you'll find those pesky out cards cropping up out of nowhere. It's all a bit bemusing, really, as you could end up with a useless voucher for something completely unrelated that you don’t even want!

Avoid purchasing anything from those shopping channels at all costs, particularly Pitch TV! These firms tend to mishandle your card details and pass them on to an outfit called "Pound Saver," even if you've firmly said no to their offers on discounts or holiday deals. Then, lo and behold, a week later, they seem to think it's alright to help themselves to your funds. The usual amount siphoned off is around £89.95. Do make sure you contact your bank, as they can assist you in reclaiming your money from these crooks!

Having just come back from a lovely getaway, I took a gander at our credit card statement and noticed a charge from POUND SAVER 08001077333 for £1.60. It's rather baffling, as we’d never allocate such a trifling sum to our credit card; we reserve its use strictly for booking tickets and the like online. Given that this con seems to have been rampant for ages, I can’t help but wonder why it hasn’t been put to an end by now.

I've found myself getting fleeced for £89.95 by Pound Saver and another £39.99 from a phone call with Classic Living. We’ve only just gone through our bank statement and plan to reach out to our bank tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed they can sort this out for us!

We just had a chat on the 0800 number and spoke to a lovely chap who was keen to assist us. We explained our situation, and he was most helpful. He assured us that our funds would be returned to our account within five to seven working days, and he would promptly remove our name from the mailing list. What a relief, as our finances were rather stretched at the moment!

I’ve just gone through our bank statements and noticed that this company has withdrawn £1.60 and £99.95 from our account. I've reached out to our bank, and they advised me to report this at our local branch later today to sort out getting a refund. It is absolutely unacceptable for anyone to share your personal information without your consent, especially with a shopping channel. I truly think these individuals need to be investigated for their dubious practices affecting unsuspecting customers.
