Regrettably, I found myself in a rather foolish predicament when I dialled this number, mistakenly thinking it belonged to Norton support as advertised on Google. The call connected to a chap with a foreign accent who feigned willingness to assist with my Norton issue. In my naivety, I allowed him remote access to my laptop, during which he insisted I purchase £90 worth of iTunes vouchers and relay the codes to him. He assured me that this would facilitate the installation of Norton and even claimed I’d benefit from a unique offer that meant my subscription would never need renewing. Lo and behold, it’s clear now that I was duped. At 80 years of age, it’s taken me some time to comprehend the extent of the deception. I’ve since taken the precaution of changing my bank details and passwords, and I reported the incident to the fraud squad, yet it's disheartening to see this number-and others like it-still accessible to those who might be easily misled.

Absolute con artist! They pretended to be from Norton, but when I checked with Norton themselves, they hadn’t a clue who these people were. After perusing several discussions, it seems they’ve been masquerading as representatives of various firms. I made the error of allowing them access to my computer - what a blunder! Don't be duped by their tricks!

I can hardly fathom that I initially mistook this place for Bullguard, especially since the interface was drastically different from what I recalled from about five or six months ago! I was merely trying to get some information about an invoice, mind you.

A few days later, these con artists rang me up, presumably because they had snagged my number, yet they were completely evasive about their identity. The unmistakable Indian or Pakistani accent was a huge red flag, and the background noise, reminiscent of a call centre but with an oddly prolonged echo, was all the evidence I needed to steer clear of this dubious operation when searching for a legitimate contact number or email.

It really makes one wonder why Google doesn't verify the business credentials of these so-called clients-perhaps the answer lies in the rather disheartening notion of GREED.

Fraudsters alert!
They're masquerading as tech support representatives from various firms like Yahoo and BT, among others.
Beware, they’re after remote access to your computer!

They purport to be the customer service for Avast, but be wary, as they might attempt to extract your bank information.
