This was such a detailed scam, I had to see it for myself. The bloke on the phone sounded really convincing. It was only after I asked to speak to his manager and pointed out there was no Microsoft logo anywhere that he suddenly held me on the line and then never answered again. Definitely dodgy! karnig @ [#]neos-iti###]

Today, my partner's computer showed a serious error popup asking him to call that number. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me. My screen suddenly showed some sort of window that locked up everything and I couldn't get rid of it. It claimed I had a serious virus that would wipe my files if I didn’t call the number displayed within minutes. The only way I managed to stop it was by shutting down my PC completely. Fingers crossed it hasn’t done any damage to my machine!

Today my 13 year old lad rang this number after a message popped up telling him to contact them for tech support. They then demanded £139.00 from him, and when he said he didn't want any help, the person on the line started swearing at him. It's really upset him. This number is a total scam, don’t believe anything. Microsoft themselves said that "8413" isn’t connected to them in any way. Some crooks got into my mum's computer without permission, and now her security's completely wrecked. Honestly, I wish those scammers would just get some awful disease and suffer for what they do.

Could be some kind of malware targeting Windows, maybe like a zbot. I think it messes with browser extensions, like adblock or something similar.

I encountered a rather alarming Zeus virus alert on my laptop, which prompted me to dial this number for assistance. Despite my efforts to eliminate the warning - it stubbornly persisted even after I powered down the device! When I finally got through to an operator, they were meant to guide me on how to rid my system of the virus. However, upon mentioning that I wasn't using Windows, the conversation abruptly ended, leaving me quite perplexed. Now I’m left fretting if this might be a dodgy number that could end up racking up charges just for making the call!

I got a call from this number and my computer popped up a message saying something about a virus and to call tech support at that number with some code it showed. Pretty clear they were trying to scam me and get remote access to my PC. I just ignored it and checked my laptop - everything seems fine, no problems at all. Deleted the message straight away. Wouldn’t trust this number for a second!
