This was such a detailed scam, I had to see it for myself. The bloke on the phone sounded really convincing. It was only after I asked to speak to his manager and pointed out there was no Microsoft logo anywhere that he suddenly held me on the line and then never answered again. Definitely dodgy! karnig @ [#]neos-iti###]

An unfamiliar number popped up on my son's laptop, and we decided to give it a ring. However, it didn't take long before we recognised it was a dodgy scam! The whole thing ended up freezing his laptop, leaving us with no choice but to reset it to regain access. What a hassle!

My laptop completely locked up, and I was advised to call this number right away. I did a quick search online, which brought me here... but I'm definitely not picking up the phone. I’ve cut the power off at the tower, and everything seems to be running smoothly at the moment.

I received a Windows alert on my laptop claiming there was a virus on my computer linked to this number. It seemed quite urgent, suggesting I needed to eliminate the virus immediately. I couldn't manage to delete the warning, so I opted to shut down my laptop and restart it. After running a security scan, everything checked out fine-turns out it was just a scam.

About four days back, I encountered a catastrophic error that caused my computer to freeze entirely. In a bit of a panic, I dialled this number, believing I had reached Microsoft Corporation located in Canary Wharf, London. Regrettably, it turned out to be a fraudulent operation, something I realised far too late.

I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent, and his command of English wasn't the best. He requested some financial assistance, but when I expressed my doubts about the legitimacy of the situation, he turned quite aggressive.

Today, my partner's computer displayed a rather alarming error message instructing him to call a particular number. It was obviously a scam. Fortunately, I managed to close the annoying pop-up by disabling the internet connection via the task manager and then we restarted the machine. So far, everything seems to be running smoothly again.

I encountered a rather alarming situation earlier when a Windows alert popped up on my display, completely freezing everything in its tracks. I was powerless to close it down. The message claimed I was infected with a critical virus that would wreak havoc on my system, threatening to obliterate all my data if I didn’t call the number provided within a few minutes. The only option I had was to turn off the power at the tower. I sincerely hope that no damage has been done to my computer in the process!

I gave them a ring and adhered to their guidance. The moment they mentioned payment, I made it crystal clear they were barking up the wrong tree. Now, I’m left with a prompt for a starting password. What steps should I take next?

Today, my thirteen-year-old lad rang this number after receiving a message prompting him to seek technical assistance. Upon calling, he was informed that he needed to cough up £139.00 for the service. When he expressed that he wasn’t interested, the individual on the line resorted to quite the aggressive tirade. This encounter has left my son quite shaken. I'm unsure if it has impacted our computer system yet, but it’s certainly a source of concern.

Yet another fraudulent phone number has surfaced! I reached out to Microsoft, and they assured me that "8413" has no affiliation with them whatsoever. Unfortunately, my mother's computer was accessed without her consent, leaving her security in tatters. It’s truly appalling. Honestly, I’d wish the scammers would face a wretched fate for their deeds.

It seems likely that this could be linked to a compromised Chrome extension, such as AdBlock. There's a possibility it’s related to the Zbot malware targeting Windows systems.

I encountered a rather alarming Zeus virus alert on my laptop, which prompted me to dial this number for assistance. Despite my efforts to eliminate the warning - it stubbornly persisted even after I powered down the device! When I finally got through to an operator, they were meant to guide me on how to rid my system of the virus. However, upon mentioning that I wasn't using Windows, the conversation abruptly ended, leaving me quite perplexed. Now I’m left fretting if this might be a dodgy number that could end up racking up charges just for making the call!

I've been having a right bother with a pop-up on my Chrome browser that claims there's a severe error and urges me to ring a specific toll-free number. It all seems a bit fishy to me, like something dodgy is afoot.

I reckon this number might be dubious at best. An alert popped up on my screen claiming that my device had a virus and urged me to contact some so-called tech services on this number, providing a code mentioned in the warning. Naturally, it looks like a ploy to gain remote access to my computer and personal info. I've gotten rid of the message, and lo and behold, my computer’s functioning just fine!

This phone number is associated with a dodgy outfit dealing in computer viruses based out of India. Steer clear, as they’re nothing but fraudsters!
