The post from 19/11/21 explains how to report scam calls. I don’t think you should ignore every call from a number you don’t recognise. Sure, most will be scams but sometimes it could be someone genuinely trying to reach you. Just listening won’t let them scam you. Just don’t provide any info and make sure you report the scam call straight to the police database. They gave the info on 19/11.

Was on the phone with someone claiming to be from Sky. As soon as I told them I’m already a customer, they just hung up on me. Definitely a dodgy call.

Paul Cox here. Just a quick one - I received a call from Cash Converters. There was a chap on the other end, someone I've chatted with previously, who seemed to recognise my voice and then abruptly hung up. Quite baffling, really!

I got a call from Cash Converters and the guy’s voice sounded really familiar, like we’d spoken before. He double checked if it was me, then quickly hung up. He actually called me by my name, and I knew exactly who he was.

Without a doubt, it was Cash Converters. I instantly recognised the chap's voice from past phone chats we’ve had. He inquired if it was really me and then abruptly hung up. We both knew one another quite well.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Sky, but it definitely felt like a scam. The guy was pretty rude too, didn’t sound genuine at all. Just ignored him after a bit.
