I received a letter from them insisting that I must replace my electricity meter, but when I decided to ring them for clarification, they claimed it was supposed to be changed to a smart meter-it's all rather misleading! They even had the audacity to warn me about a potential breach of contract if I didn’t comply with their request for a smart meter installation. It’s astonishing that such practices are permitted by law; why on earth is this company allowed to operate in this manner? To make matters worse, I've been bombarded with relentless phone calls from EON about these smart meters.EON6 yearsI find myself in complete agreement with a previous commenter’s experience. Eon has been insisting that my electric meter requires replacement, yet they keep promoting the idea of having a smart meter installed.
