I just got another call from 08000961434. After seeing other people mention it might be Halifax, I phoned Halifax directly. The guy I spoke to had no idea about a personal account manager being offered. I also got a letter supposedly from Halifax with the same offer, but when I asked, they said that’s not a service they provide. With all these calls and letters, just be cautious and don’t share any details. If you’re unsure, always call the bank on their usual official number. It’s best to be safe than sorry.

Someone called saying they were from Halifax and that my wife could have her own dedicated advisor! But when we checked with Halifax, they said they don't do this sort of thing over the phone. I already struggle enough proving who I am without a driving licence when trying to make a cash withdrawal. There’s no way I’m trusting some stranger on the line. Halifax Bank never picked up when I tried to call back, but I’m pretty sure it’s legit. I got a letter from them earlier saying they’d be in touch about offering "a more personal service," which honestly I’m not bothered about. The note had two phone numbers - 0800 096 1434 and 0113 366 0160 - both seem to be valid numbers from what I checked. Still, it’s a bit frustrating when they keep ringing and won’t take no for an answer!

Got a call from this number earlier, it rang twice then cut off. Then, about a minute later, I got another call from 01422280144 - that’s a Halifax area code - it also rang twice and then stopped. Not long after, an 0800 number tried my landline and went to voicemail but left no message.
