Over the last month, we've received around ten calls from this number. Strangely enough, whenever we pick up, the line goes dead. We suspect it might be EDF Energy, considering we have an account with them that’s currently experiencing some issues. We’re expecting them to sort it out soon, but it’s baffling why they hang up as soon as we answer instead of engaging in conversation. This feels a bit like harassment and is definitely not how one should conduct business!

I received a call from this number on the 3rd of April at precisely 9:50 in the morning. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with nothing but some rather dull hold music, so I hung up. Anyone know who it might have been?

Honestly, we're quite incensed since we're not even customers of theirs. It's utterly ridiculous that they keep invading our peace like this. We're planning to lodge a complaint; once we locate a number that doesn't incur fees for us to dial, we'll be on it. It’s astonishing to hear that this seems to be a widespread problem with them - truly unprofessional behaviour!

Honestly, what's the purpose of all this? I keep receiving calls from them, and as soon as I pick up, they just disconnect. I caught a glimpse of an accent that sounded like it was from a call centre overseas, but right after that, they hung up. It’s terribly unprofessional behaviour, and we have no obligation to EDF whatsoever.

It seems that when you encounter a call from an overseas call centre, they simply cannot be EDF. They exclusively utilise British call centres for their operations. Additionally, these individuals are prohibited from relaying voicemails. No energy companies are permitted to do so!

I received a call from the number mentioned above, ringing a whopping seven times! Curiously, as soon as we plugged the number into a search engine, it popped up linked to EDF Energy. Oddly enough, we're actually with British Gas for our energy needs. When we called the number back, we were greeted with some music, but there was no one on the line to speak to. Quite strange, isn’t it?

Blimey! When you've got a piece of a foreign call centre, it certainly can't be EDF. These folks exclusively use British call centres. Plus, it's worth noting that they're unable to leave a voice message-definitely not an energy provider!

I’m experiencing the exact same problem as quite a few others here. These callers are pestering me with three to four rings every day, yet the moment I answer, there’s nothing but silence on the line. It’s worth mentioning that I did have a bill that was overdue, but that's been sorted now. They really shouldn’t be bothering me anymore. Honestly, when I find the time, I reckon it’d be quite amusing to turn the tables on them and give them a taste of their own medicine!
