Got a couple of texts supposedly from 'Lloyds Bank'. First one said a new credit card was being sent to me, which I never asked for, and the other claimed they were handling my complaint, but I haven't even filed any complaint!

So I got a message from some 0800 number, 08000920715, claiming to be Halifax Bank. The text said they’d be ringing me soon, which never happened, but if I missed their call, I was meant to ring back between 8am and 6pm with some reference number. Honestly, I’m not touching that with a bargepole. Feels dodgy to me - what’s the deal with Isaac Butterworth Ltd pretending to be Halifax anyway? Seems risky to trust that.
