4 yearsSome bloke called himself Peter and rang me back from a firm saying they were Canon Technical Support. I thought he was helping sort out a driver issue with my printer, so I let him control my computer remotely for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then he starts telling me I’ve got 'thousands' of viruses and wanted £100 to fix them. It soon dawned on me he wasn’t even dealing with the problem I asked about. I called him out as a scammer and told him I was ending the call. I actually ended up speaking to two different people during the chat, with one saying he was Peter. The whole conversation went on for about 35 minutes before I hung up.PeterCanon Technical Support7 yearsHonestly, I think you’re mistaken. Peter Morris isn’t the only one out there with that name...
