I recently had a run-in with someone calling themselves Kevin Miller, claiming to be affiliated with the EuroMillions lottery. He supplied me with a so-called claim number, 0365, to lend some credibility to his story. Allegedly, I had won a multitude of tickets and was one of only twenty participants - sounds a bit dodgy, doesn’t it? I played along for a short while before telling both Kevin and his 'manager' John that if I wanted any free cash, I’d give them a bell. Just a heads-up, they’re clearly on the lookout for personal banking details. Stay clear of this one! The phone number associated is 08000858694. It’s undeniably a scam - no doubt about it!

I received a call from this number claiming they had a sum of £100 waiting to be deposited into my bank account. Thankfully, I refrained from sharing any of my banking information. Turns out it was just a scam related to some so-called Universal Lottery!

I’m not entirely certain if Universal Lottos is on the up and up, but they certainly seem to have a hard time accepting the word 'no'. I was told I’d won £2000 worth of free tickets, but then they wanted £69 from me to claim them. When I expressed my frustration and pointed out to the chap named Daniel Murphy that that’s hardly 'free', he promptly put me on hold, returned to see if I was still about, and then just put me back on hold again. Honestly, it felt a bit unprofessional and more than a tad immature.

I've just submitted a report and it turns out I've fallen for a scam. Regrettably, I did share my card details, which has me quite anxious. The woman who contacted me introduced herself as Seema and spoke with an American accent. I’ve been involved in a lottery before, and mistakenly assumed this was a similar situation. I’ll be calling my bank first thing in the morning. Whatever you do, don’t share your card information!

I received a call today from someone claiming to be Seema, who insisted that I had previously been a customer. I, rather foolishly, went along with her and ended up disclosing my card details. I’m planning to contact my bank shortly to see if I can put a stop to this madness. I can't believe I fell for that!

I just had a rather worrying phone call from a chap claiming to be Brian Miller, and he was all about some Canadian lottery they were supposedly flogging for a price of £7. Unfortunately, my mum ended up sharing her bank information as he seemed rather convincing. Please, for the love of all that’s good, steer clear of these con artists and don’t divulge your personal details to them!

I received a call from 08000878694 claiming to offer free lottery tickets, but they requested my bank information to process any winnings. I promptly hung up. Clearly, it's a total scam!

My elderly father, who is 92, fell victim to a con artist who duped him out of almost £3000 for some bogus foreign lottery tickets. The caller went by the name ‘Terry’, sporting a Canadian accent, claiming to be reaching out from Canada. Each time he called, he would promise my dad a massive win, insisting that this next draw was the one where luck would strike!

I received a call from this number and they were attempting to peddle lottery tickets. Does anyone know if they’re a bunch of frauds?
