This number is linked to Virgin Money Credit Cards, so you can trust it's genuine. That said, since phone numbers can be faked these days, it's best to stay cautious whenever you answer a call.

Got a call that was legit from Virgin Credit Card, no issues at all.

This number (0800 085 3210) rang me, but my phone flagged it as possible spam. When I picked up, a man with a thick accent and awful connection said he was calling from Virgin credit cards. I never asked for a callback, especially after I got a suspicious fraud text the day before, so I didn’t trust him at all. I hung up straightaway without sharing any details. Later, I called Virgin myself using the official app number, though it took like 30 minutes waiting to get through. Honestly, the bloke who called could have been the one behind that dodgy transaction!

So, I got a call from what said it was Virgin Money's fraud team. I rung them back using the number printed on my card, just to be safe. Turns out it really was them, and the call was about a dodgy charge they spotted on my card. They’d already frozen the card, and the alert popped up on my app as well. The number is legit, but if you’re ever in doubt, just use the number on your card to check.

I got a call about some suspicious activity, which they said was fraud, I had already got a text about it earlier. The people on the phone were quite polite and I didn’t share any of my info with them. I looked at the number on the back of my Virgin Credit Card and rang them back to be sure. Turns out, it really was Virgin Money after all.

About an hour back, I got a call from this number. A woman claimed she was from Virgin Credit and wanted security info before explaining the reason for the call. She was the one who ringed me. She mentioned if I wasn't okay sharing those details over the phone, she'd send an email for me to get back to them... but I haven’t received anything yet.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with the Virgin Money Fraud dept and they wanted to run through some security checks with me. I told them I had a few questions for them as well to make sure they were legit. The caller said they’d email me something, but nothing ever showed up and then the line went dead. Pretty sure I was right to be wary about that!

Got a quick reply and a very spot-on breakdown.

The caller talked super quick, with a really thick Indian accent, so it was hard to understand what they were saying. They mentioned something about Virgin and said they had some questions for me. When they asked for my date of birth, I said no and then they just ended the call.

Even if a call seems legit from my bank, I usually dont pick up. Instead, I just ring the number on the back of my card just to make sure everything's alright. Better safe than sorry!

I got a voicemail from this number about something to do with Section 75 and a faulty item I bought. They told me to ring another number to sort it out, and everything seemed completely above board.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Money. I was a bit suspicious, so I asked the bloke to tell me the number on the back of my card, but I didn’t have it with me at the time. Later, I looked up the number that called me on this site and saw others saying it matches the card’s number. However, when I compared them, only the first and last parts matched - the middle digits were different. So, I’m still unsure if it’s a genuine call or not.

Yes, it really is Virgin credit cards, and honestly it’s totally safe. The number you’re seeing? It’s actually listed right on their official site and even printed on your card itself!

I'm a bit dubious about this number; it might be linked to a credit card fraud attempt.

I just checked their site, and this is defo the same phone number they have listed there.

If you look at the back of your card, the number there is actually the Virgin Credit Card Customer Service line. Best thing to do is grab your card and call that number straight away. Don’t ever trust or click on any phone numbers that come in texts or emails - they might be dodgy.

Just got a call from 0800 085 3210 but they didn’t leave any message. Funny timing tho - my Virgin app stopped working right after. Bit strange, eh?

On the 27th of April 2023, I got a call from a woman who spoke way too fast, so I couldn’t catch who she claimed to be working for. I looked up the number on Google afterwards and saw lots of people saying it was a scam. I’d just lost my wallet not long ago and had to cancel my cards pretty quickly, and I wonder if this call has anything to do with that. The number was 08000853210.

Got two calls back to back just a minute apart, but no voicemail was left. Seems pretty dodgy to me, probably a scam.

Got a call from 08000853210, some lady with an Asian accent claiming she was from Virgin Credit Card. She spoke soooo quickly and kept stammering but kept saying Virgin Credit Card and told me to ring back immediately, saying they're open all day and night. Thing is, I know Virgin doesn’t operate like that. Plus, she got my name wrong and called me Mrs when I’m actually Miss. Honestly, just ignore this number - it’s definitely a scam.

I didnt answer the phone but later got a voicemail telling me to ring back on this number. The message claimed to be from Virgin Money’s Security Team, and they even said the name correctly. Still, the voice was quite fast, had a strong Asian accent and there was no email to back it up, which seemed dodgy to me. I’m thinking of letting Virgin Money know about it just in case.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Virgin Credit Card, with a number that looked almost exactly like the digits on the back of my actual card. They had both my and my husband’s phone numbers and email addresses. They told me there'd been some dodgy activity on my card. I almost got caught out, but something didn’t feel right at the end, so I checked with my real credit card provider. Turns out, it was a scam and they cancelled my card straight away.

Claims to be associated with a credit card provider due to the similar number. In reality, it’s a con artist operation. Best to steer clear of them!
