Got a call from someone saying he was Alan Johnson with Santander Business, telling me my payment got blocked. When I asked which account he meant, he gave a company name that didn’t sound right at all - instantly knew it was dodgy. He mentioned I should have a key-fob for online banking, which I don’t, so I called him out on it. Then he started swearing and hung up on me. The bloke had an Irish accent, sounded like he was in his 50s or 60s. The number showed as 0800 085 1580. Total scam.
