Im a customer of BT and EE and they already had my info, which they gave me willingly as part of a broadband/call deal. But during the call, they asked for my date of birth and where I was born? That set off alarm bells for me! No way would I share that on a random call, especially when neither BT nor EE really need that info. I said no and ended the call straight away.

Got a call from EE about their broadband deals. They were pretty insistent, which got a bit irritating to be honest.

I got a call from that number, but hung up right away. So I did a 1471 and phoned back, just got a message saying they'll try again later. They also gave me a number to stop the calls, which I called, and boom, was taken off their list in less than half a minute! Really polite and super helpful. #To stop calls just ring 0800 956 6100

Got a call from an Indian voice when I picked up, asking how they could assist me today. I said our company name, mentioned that they had rung me, and then he just ended the call. I do remind myself these people are probably just trying to make a living, but honestly, it’s not always easy to be patient.

Got a call again today, she asked for me by name and said she was calling from BT Business about BT Broadband. I said I’m happy with my current provider and if I ever wanted to switch, I’d look into it myself, not over the phone. She asked if I’d be interested in a better deal, I said no and told her to take my number off their list. She cheekily said “we can’t do that” and then just hung up. Now saved in my phone as “B##ards” so if you ring again, expect me to give you a proper earful, you shower of CNUTS.

I've been inundated with silent phone calls for the past couple of days-surely this goes against OFCOM regulations? Then, to top it off, I receive a text from EE asking for my feedback on a recent interaction! The irony: I’m not even an EE customer, so how can I reply? I decided to ring the number back today and got a rather unhelpful message stating, "You were called by EE, and we’ll attempt to contact you again soon. If you wish to have your number taken off our list, please call 0800 9566100." So, I rang that number, and the chap named Keith informed me that the best he could do was to refer my details to his superior to sort out the removal of my number. What a faff!

this number just called me claiming ee and bt merged and they're offering a deal on broadband. i told them i dumped bt years ago cause they're honestly the worst service ive ever had. might even think about switching my mobile away from ee now, dont want anything to do with a bt connected company.
