He ringed me up asking for my personal info. I told him it was his call so he should be the one to prove who he is, not me. He kept pushing for my details saying it's because of the data protection laws. I just hung up after that.

Got a random call from a number I didn’t know. Seems like people are split down the middle - some reckon it’s EE after payments, while others warn it’s not them and advise not to share any bank details. I’m thinking I’ll try to reach EE through their official channels and let them know I don’t respond to calls from numbers that won’t leave a message or any ID. Hopefully they can confirm if the number’s legit and ask whoever’s calling to leave proper info, or else warn me off it if it’s dodgy. If they don’t sort it out, I might just look for a different provider.

Yep, it's definitely EE. They've called me quite a few times from this number. If you're worried it's some sort of scam (which it’s not), just give EE a call yourself and they'll probably tell you that you might owe them some money.

Not EE. They called askin for my bank info to make a payment. I checked online and all payments from my phone are showing as paid and cleared, just like they have been for ages.

Received a call at 9:23 PM, so I rang up 150 for EE. The following day, they claimed it wasn’t one of their numbers. What a load of nonsense! They’re definitely not being transparent. I hadn’t established any contact via my account, so I’m off. Farewell, EE! I’ll be switching to Tesco.
