I just looked over my bank statement and realised I've been getting charged for this twice now.

Hey everyone, if you’ve ended up paying for one of those sneaky text subscription services, please reach out to me. I’m looking to put together an article about this issue. Cheers! You can contact me at [email protected][###]

If this keeps going on, they’ll end up taking a fortune, bit by bit. It’s only £4.50 each week but it really adds up quick. Right now, they owe me about £45 in total.

They keep billing me for Fun Mob even though I never signed up. I texted them ages ago asking them to stop, but the charges haven't stopped yet. Really frustrating!

I just got hit with a £4.50 charge after browsing some hairstyles, and apparently I’ve been signed up for Funfor hairstyles without my consent. I didn’t send a text to 64055 to CANCEL the subscription because I read that would cost me more. This feels like a total scam and really needs investigating. When I texted that number to stop the subscription, the reply said... "Your text-to-speech message to 08000689042 has been delivered." I’m going to get in touch with my Three network provider to try and block any further charges.

Got hit with £5 a week for three weeks, and I never signed up for any of it. Rang EE, and they told me it’s dodgy and to send an email to info[###]@your-mobi[###]. Proper scam.

I reckon this is a total scam. Vodafone know about it but all they do is attempt to cancel it, no chance of getting your money back. Watch out!

Scratch what I said before, those crooks just nabbed £4.50 from my EE mobile credit. Be careful and report the scam at www.actionfraud.police.uk!

So, turns out those dodgy people nicked £4.50 from my EE bill. What a scam! Make sure you report it at www.actionfraud.police.uk before they get away with it. Bloody thieves!

I just got a text saying I’ve signed up for something. Does replying with STOP actually mean you’ll get charged £4.50? Looks like this could be the case because I haven’t replied or done anything yet, and no money’s been taken from me. Watch out for this scam, seriously. You should report it to the cops.

Got scammed here, they took almost £12 from me and I never signed up for anything. My bills are already sky high, so I seriously want my money back.

Watch out, this is definitely a rip-off. They charge your phone company without you agreeing to anything. I got stung for 27 quid and when I tried to get my money back, nothing happened. Didn’t even sign up for any service. Has anyone actually had their cash returned?

This is definitely a rip off. They just charge your phone company and grab your cash like that. I've been stung for £27 and when I tried to get my money back, nothing came through. Didn't even agree to any of it! Proper dodgy stuff.

I just found out they hit you with fees just for clicking links on their site, with no warning about any charges or subscriptions. If anyone else has fallen for this trick, make sure to report it at http://www.actionfraud.police.uk.

Really frustrated right now, I never signed up for anything with this firm but they're still charging me through my Virgin Media bill. After three months, they suddenly took £13.50. I kept getting messages from them but just ignored them. Honestly, it feels like I've been scammed because I got nothing in return. Virgin Media say it’s a premium service charge from that company and they won’t give me my money back. Proper annoyed with the whole thing.

Totally a scam, REALLY annoying! I was just checking out a car pic on the internet, then suddenly a message popped up saying I’d signed up for something costing £4.50 a week. Thought it was some dodgy ad so just ignored it. Next thing I know, there’s £13.50 added to my phone bill! I messaged STOP and rang them straight away to report it as fraud. The woman said it’s cancelled now and asked if I wanted a refund - then asked for my bank details! Told her my phone company would sort the refund, but seriously, watch out for this one!

So I was just browsing haircuts and somehow got hit with a £4.50 charge, then got a message saying I’d signed up to some Funfor hairstyles thing. I’ve sent a text saying STOP to 64055 but honestly I reckon this is a bit dodgy. Heard others have tried that and it didn’t stop the charges, so not really sure what the next step is if that happens. Really feels like a scam to me and someone should check it out.

I got a message from some company I’ve never signed up for, just clicked on a Facebook link once. No idea how to stop them messaging me now, really worried they’ll drain loads of cash from my account.

Same here - Got a call from a number saying it was some Facebook article about healthy eating costing £4.50. I thought it was just a normal FB read, clicked through, and somehow ended up signed up for a service I definitely didn’t agree to. Absolute scam, those people.

I noticed a £4.50 charge from my mobile provider simply for scrolling through Facebook, and it seems they’ve enrolled me in a weekly subscription without my consent. It’s clear that tricksters are targeting Android users through Facebook these days!

I saw an ad for pfi.funforyou.mobi on Facebook, sponsored by Gossip Animals, and I strongly advise against clicking on it. It really needs to be removed. I checked with my mobile network provider, and thankfully they confirmed no charges were taken from my account. When you call the number they provide, they try to offer a refund - but only if you hand over your bank details. Please, never share your banking info with them. Also, let your phone company know you won’t be setting up any more contracts through them, just in case they attempt the same scam. Seriously, this should be banned from the web! Watch out, everyone.

I was just browsing hairstyles on Facebook when outta nowhere I got this text saying I’d subscribed to something. It told me to reply STOP to a number, which I did, but by then they’d already taken £4.50 from my account. Makes me wonder how many others they’ve scammed out of that same amount. Thinking about whether it’s even worth getting in touch with my phone provider, since I did reply STOP and all.

These hairdressing con artists are at it again, got a text seemingly from some random FB scroll, never even clicked their profile tho. I’ve filed a complaint with the ICO 7726 and now sorting stuff with my phone company to get back the £4.50 and block their number. The mobile companies really should do more to stop this kind of scam, feels like they turn a blind eye so the scammers keep making money.

So I got this text out of nowhere saying I’d signed up for some “fun for you hairstyles” thing, and that they’d be taking £4.50 from me every week until I sent STOP to 64055. I tried texting STOP, but the message just didn’t go through at all. Then I called the helpline on 08000689042, asked them to cancel it, and thankfully got a text saying I’d successfully unsubscribed. Now, I’m planning to get in touch with my phone provider to make sure they don’t charge me for this. The whole thing started when I was scrolling through Facebook looking at hairstyles, and bam - this message popped up about the subscription. Seems dodgy to me! I never agreed to sign up, I was just browsing pictures. Can they even do this legally? It feels like a total scam.

Every week, my mobile bill shows a charge of £4.50, and so far, I haven’t managed to get it stopped. The number I was given by my mobile provider to sort out a refund hasn’t been helpful. Does anyone know where I should turn to get this sorted?

Got a message from some app on Facebook claiming they’d charge me £4.50 weekly for "funforyou." I rang my network provider to check and they said not to respond or ring back. Apparently, there hadn’t been any charges on my account. They warned that if I replied or called, they’d see it as me confirming my number and start taking money. So yeah, don’t bother contacting that company - just sort it through your phone provider instead.

I was just scrolling through Facebook when I saw some ad about hair styles and then out of nowhere I get a message saying I'm signed up to pay £4.50 every week. I never actually did that though, and they told me to text back to stop it. Feels like a total con to me and now I’m stressing that they’ll nick money off me and my phone bill’s gonna be crazy high.

The moment I got the text, I got in touch with my network provider and sorted it out. They told me best not to call back or reply by text, because that just confirms your number to them. Instead, they suggested saving the numbers to my contacts and then blocking them. After that, they made sure those numbers couldn’t do anything with my account.

If you want to cancel, just drop them an email at info[###]@funforyou.mobi with your mobile number and the word STOP. They have this annoying 14-day notice period before they’ll cancel, according to their terms and conditions. Honestly, I’m proper livid about it!

Absolute rip off! I was just browsing hairstyles on Facebook and suddenly got a text saying I’d signed up for a service that charges £4.50 weekly! How come Facebook and the phone companies don’t do more to stop this rubbish? Thankfully, my provider sorted it all out and gave me my money back.

Saw an ad on Facebook and got a message from this number saying thanks for signing up to Funfor you Infotainment Hairstyles for £4.50 weekly, and to stop it just text stop to 64055. Tried to reply but none of my texts seem to get delivered. Pretty sure it's a scam and fingers crossed they don’t take any money from my bank.

This is linked to shortcode 64055. It’s meant to be customer support for some dodgy hair product ad I saw on Facebook. Basically one of those sneaky 'subscriptions' you never actually signed up for! When I called to try and stop it, the automated voice asked me to have my phone number, IMEI, and model handy - really confusing! They said they might be able to refund me, but only by putting the money into my bank account - yeah right, like that’s gonna happen!

Got a text from shortcode 64055 claiming to be customer service for a dodgy hair product ad I saw on Facebook. Looks like one of those sneaky 'subscription' scams where you never really sign up properly. When I called to try and cancel it, the automated voice said I needed to have my phone number, IMEI, and model handy (which made no sense to me). They said they’d refund me but only directly to my bank account - right, like I’d ever trust that!

So, I tapped on a hairstyle ad on Facebook and out of nowhere, I got a text saying I’d subscribed to something. Had a chat with my phone provider, O2, and apparently they’ve taken £4.50 from my account. Luckily, they’ve now blocked any further charges from these dodgy companies trying to scam me. It’s a small loss, £4.50, but if they manage to nick that from like 4000 people, that’s quite a bit in their pockets.

Can anyone tell me what’s the best way to sort this out and make these idiots stop taking money for no reason? Happened to me just like someone else mentioned here. I accidentally pressed confirm and now they’re charging me £4.50 every week! Don’t really want to ring 08000689042 though, bit worried about that.

I found £4.50 missing from my phone bill after just scrolling through Facebook, then got hit with a weekly subscription I never agreed to. When I tried to cancel, they offered me a 50% refund but wanted my bank or Paypal info - I wasn't about to share any of that. Definitely a shady scam in my opinion.

I noticed a charge of £4.50 from my mobile network provider, allegedly for just scrolling through Facebook. To my utter disbelief, they enrolled me in some sort of weekly subscription without my consent. When I contacted them to cancel, they dangled a 50% refund in front of me, but insisted on my bank or PayPal particulars. I flatly declined to share any sensitive information. It certainly feels like a scam to me.
