I've been getting a nonstop stream of unwanted calls, it's driving me mad!

Person called me with an Indian accent saying they’re from EE and wanted to offer me 50% off my contract. But once I mentioned I already use EE and asked if the discount would be applied straight away, they just ended the call. Bit strange really.
