Got a call from Chloe selling some funeral plan, started with a cheerful "Hi, is that #####?" When I confirmed, I told her her tone was way too casual for a cold call, which she probably shouldn’t be doing anyway. She insisted cold calling is against the law and claimed it wasn’t cold calling since I supposedly gave my info in an online survey - not that I remember doing that. Honestly, yes it is cold calling, mate, so just buzz off. Blocked the number.
