I got calls from 08000522632, then today from 0008000522632, so the comment below is also mine. The first number I blocked yesterday, but today they rang using two zeros at the start, probably pretending to be from abroad. I rang BT and added an international call block to stop these calls. The caller said they were Virgin Media, but they're definitely not. I contacted Virgin Media to report this scam, but got absolutely no help - got treated rubbish. Now I’m going to take this to OFCOM and report Virgin Media for ignoring me and letting fraudsters from India pretend to be them.

After getting endless calls from Virgin Media about bills we dont owe - all because they've done nothing to sort out fraud on our account for more than half a year - we've had enough. We’ve now taken legal action against them. Seriously, avoid the nightmare of dealing with their awful customer service.

Virgin Media keeps ringing me non stop and I even got a message saying I urgently need to get in touch about some missed payments. Thing is, I’ve never missed any bill. Feels like a scam to me but they use the same text system so it looks proper legit. Still, I’m sure I’m up to date with all payments.

Virgin Media has been calling me daily for the last 3 weeks, sometimes even twice a day, and they’re also sending me texts. I moved recently and informed them, asked to close my account, but they said I need my password which I’ve lost. They promised to send me a new one but it’s been 4 weeks and I’ve had nothing. I keep receiving persistent calls on my mobile from "Virgin Media," apparently in search of a George Donovan-whoever that chap might be! The thing is, I've never even held an account with Virgin. After a conversation with their representative, I explicitly requested to be removed from their list, but lo and behold, the calls have resumed. Now, when I pick up, it’s nothing but an automated system that just hangs up after a few moments. Honestly, I reckon I've burnt through a good £45 just responding to these blimmin' nuisance calls!

Got a call on my mobile but luckily my awesome app (du caller) stopped it cos it looked like spam. After looking up a few sites, it seems like its a scam pretending to be Virgin Media or their debt collectors. If they really were, why don’t Virgin Media just call on the landline, which is with them anyway? Plus, we don’t owe any money. Just a heads up, use du caller app, its a great free tool.

Virgin Media keeps chasing me for fees on an account I ended back in July, but their 'customer service' team doesn’t seem interested or able to properly cancel it. I’ve lodged a complaint with them, but they’re ignoring it completely. I’m getting around six calls a day from this number at all sorts of times. I've been receiving calls from a number that I can't seem to trace.

I signed up for an 18-month contract with Virgin back in April 2012. When I received confirmation on 1st October 2013 for my new flat, I promptly reached out to Virgin to check if they could continue servicing my new address. They informed me that due to it being a leasehold flat, they'd need the freeholder's consent. I quickly provided them with the necessary details-name, address, and phone number of the freeholder-but, much to my frustration, communication from them came to a grinding halt. As my moving day approached, set for 14th February, I bombarded them with more emails, all of which went ignored. It was then that I decided to officially terminate my contract effective 28th February and cancelled my direct debit for the 1st March. The only reply I received was a rather desperate plea, “Please don’t leave us.” In the interim, I left friends in my old house, only for Virgin to cut off their TV and broadband on 20th February. Since then, I've been bombarded with escalating payment demands, now claiming I owe them £360, which seems to rise by about £100 every month. After engaging with various departments at Virgin, it’s painfully clear that no one is on the same page. I’ve firmly told them I refuse to pay and welcomed any legal action they wish to take against me. To add to this misery, I’ve been receiving at least two calls each day from an 0800 number, which I consistently ignore. I’ve warned them that if their harassment persists, I’ll consider pursuing legal action myself. Just as a side note, I’m a 75-year-old widower with health challenges, and this persistent stress is really weighing heavily on me.
