I received a text from this number, but I’ve opted not to ring it back after coming across various warnings about it being a SCAM! They've even mentioned bringing in debt collectors! Seriously, in the midst of a lockdown? 🙄 It’s a total scam, through and through. Take my advice, ignore them completely and don't hand over a single penny!

Received a call about an outstanding invoice or some such nonsense from "Virgin Media." I’ve never had any dealings with Virgin nor do I possess an account with them. Clearly a scam! Just a heads-up, don’t bother ringing back since it’s an 08000 number—not the usual 0800 free-phone one.

I've been getting persistently bothered by this number. They won't stop reaching out regarding a supposed overdue payment for Virgin Media, which is quite puzzling as I’ve never had an account with them in the first place! It’s utterly ridiculous.

What absolute nonsense! I’ve never even signed up with Virgin Media. It’s clearly a scam aiming to fish for my banking information. I won't be bothering to ring them back, that's for certain.

It appears to be Virgin Media, specifically their collections team. They reached out to me regarding an outstanding balance on my previous account, and to my surprise, they knew the exact figure without me needing to inform them. It's safe to say this isn't a scam!
