Got a call from someone claiming to be PC World, saying they wanted to offer extra insurance. I guess they must have got my number when I bought an oven just yesterday!

Got a call from what they said was Carphone Warehouse, trying to pitch some kind of deal but honestly, the person was all over the place and had a pretty strong Indian accent. As soon as I said no thanks, they just dropped the call. Feels like one of those scammy calls to me, so I’ve blocked the number now.

i got a call from someone saying they were from carphone warehouse, but they kept pushing me even after i said no. it just didn’t feel right, like they wanted way too much info. i ended up just hanging up. pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call from this number around 10.30 in the morning, which was surprising since my number’s supposed to be ex-directory. How did they even manage to get it?

i answered my phone and before i could say anything they just ended the call.

Right I just answered with a quick hello and then heard loads of background noise from what sounded like a call centre. They ended the call pretty quickly, like 20 seconds or so. I checked out the reviews afterwards and decided to block the number. Cheers for the heads up!

The call came from a number I didn’t know, so I just ignored it and didn’t pick up.

Not sure what that was about. The line was really poor and then they just ended the call. When i called back it told me the number wasn't active anymore. I've gone ahead and blocked it now.
