Total scam. Some bloke called David Parker, sounds like he’s Indian, said he could get me a cheap deal from Carphone Warehouse on O2. Rang Carphone Warehouse myself and they told me they don’t deal with O2 or EE at all. So yeah, looks like a proper con job.

They keep ringing me saying they’re from Car Phone Warehouse or something like that, pushing some mad deal on an iPhone 13 Pro Max with unlimited calls, texts and data for £30 a month and that they’ll deliver it next week. I reserved one a week ago but no firm actually has that phone in stock right now. Honestly, be careful and don’t pick up if you don’t wanna get caught in some dodgy sales spiel.

SCAM ALERT. Someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse rang me, but as soon as I mentioned "You’re breaking the law contacting this number under article 21 of the GDPR," they just ended the call. Blocked straight away.

This bloke named Sam rang me claiming he was from carphone, so I told him I’d just seen some dodgy reviews about someone called Sam. Then he passed me over to his "Boss" or whatever, who started shouting at me over the phone, saying he was calling from India and told me to "hang up" even though it was them ringing me first.

Switched to a 3 monthly SIM so my PAC number cancelled my EE contract and moved me to Three. I signed up for a 12 month SIM-only deal. Couple hours later I got a call from someone claiming to be a contract warehouse, offering an S21 Ultra for £25 a month but needed my name, address and account info to set up a direct debit. Their accents sounded off and I’m not sure how they got my number. They said they were a phone warehouse cancelling my old Three contract to give me a new phone deal. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

I picked up and the person on the other end said hello, then went quiet for a second before suddenly seeming to recall why they rang. They said they were from Carphone Warehouse promoting some new deal. I told them I’d never dealt with CPW before, so how did they get my details? They snapped back, "Madam, we’ve got a new offer, that’s why I’m calling," and I just replied quietly, “No thanks, goodbye.” By the time I ended the call, they were already shouting at me!
