I’m in a similar boat - I noticed on 31st January 2022 that my credit card was struck for two payments of £5.99 on the same day. When I took a closer look, it turned out there were 15 additional smaller charges dating back to February 2021 that seem to be connected. My recommendation to anyone reading this is to have a rummage through your old statements as well; these transactions appear to have been deliberately timed and kept under the radar with their minimal amounts. I've raised the issue with my credit card provider, and I've had to cancel the card altogether.
