Received a dodgy voicemail from someone with a distinctly Pakistani accent, purporting to be from HMRC. They insisted I urgently consult a solicitor or else I’d be facing some serious legal trouble. I've blocked the number!

WARNING: This number showed up when I was trying to get help with Microsoft 365 setup. I ended up on the wrong website (soft365[###]/setup), which was the first one Safari suggested. I put in my key code and got an error message (no surprise there). I dialled the number and spoke to someone who claimed I had a network problem and asked me to share my screen - that's when I knew it was a scam, so I declined. They got my email address and said they’d send me some instructions. I changed all my email passwords straight away and spent the next hour beating myself up for falling for it.

Some bloke pretending to be from TSB phoned me, saying my online banking was locked and he was there to sort it out. He somehow got access to my accounts and seemed to know loads about me, even though I didn’t give much away. He tried to withdraw £5,500 but thankfully didn’t manage it. My account got frozen though, which was a right nightmare. I don’t think I’m daft, but this one nearly tricked me good.

Got a call from some phone firm here claiming i could get a phone or tablet even with bad credit. Some guy said he was doing a survey. I said “she’s” not home, then he asked if i wanted a phone or tablet contract. I told him i was just 16. He said sorry and asked when to ring again. Blocked him straight away.

Got a call from spec mobile on Sunday evening, 15th March 2010. This was their second call this week. They started off asking me to confirm my address for some survey, which seemed a bit fishy. I never share personal info with random callers like that. They mentioned something about possibly winning a phone or a tablet, but to me it sounds like a scam.
