Loads of folks mention a woman from India phoning claiming she's from EE. I just ignore those calls, if I need EE I’ll ring them direct! Always listen to your gut and NEVER share your personal details with these tricksters, no matter how good their offers sound. Today i got a call supposedly from EE saying they were giving me a 50% discount cuz of some technical issues before. They couldn’t really prove they were from EE tho. The call ended with them telling me to look out for an email in my inbox. Well, no email turned up (shocking, right?) and even if one had, i wouldn’t have bothered opening it. I simply told her not to ring me again, and to my surprise, she remained quite courteous, wishing me a pleasant day afterwards. It felt quite odd - I really didn't see that coming. I got a call from this number just the other day. I must admit, I was somewhat convinced by what she said. However, I’ve now been inundated with more than 20 calls in the span of two days. Quite overwhelming, really!

I received a couple of calls from this number, and on the other end was a woman with a foreign accent claiming to be from O2. The moment I mentioned that I had no connection to O2 whatsoever, she just cut the line without a word of farewell. It felt dodgy and clearly has the hallmarks of a scam!

I got a call from a woman with an Indian sub-continent accent saying she was from Tesco. When I asked if she meant Tesco Mobile, she said yes. I told her I’m not with them and didn’t want to keep chatting. She tried to carry on for a moment but then finally gave up and said goodbye. I suspected it was a scam since she had no clue who I was. Still, she was quite polite about it!

This number is defo not O2, it’s a scam or some dodgy company. What really bugs me is that O2 must know about these calls and others like it yet they don’t seem to do anything. Makes you think if they’re in on it somehow. Just block and ignore the number.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 and offered to slash my next bill by half. They asked for my email but when I asked for details, they dodged all my questions. The funny part is, I stopped using O2 ages ago, so it was totally obvious it was a scam.

Today, I received a call from this number that claimed to be 02, offering me a tantalising 50% reduction on my bills. They even referenced my phone number, finishing with ***. I confirmed, of course. Then they requested my email address. At that moment, I firmly stated that I wasn't comfortable sharing my information with anyone over the phone, especially due to the number of scammers out there! They insisted they weren't a scammer, which made me chuckle. I expressed my thoughts quite bluntly and then ended the conversation abruptly.
