I just received a phone call from a number that initially appeared legitimate, but I felt a strong sense of doubt when the person on the line introduced himself as Alan James while clearly sounding Asian. He went on to insist that I purchase a Google Play Security Card and share the code with him, before providing me with his mobile number. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

They said they were from Apple but once the initial recorded message finished, a bloke came on saying my account was being accessed in America and China. When I told him I’d just call Apple myself or sort it online, he got really annoyed. I didn’t give him any info as they were the ones ringing me. Then he started arguing, saying I called them first. No chance Apple would behave like this. Complete scam, definitely.
