Received a call from EDF regarding a bill that isn't even due yet. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

I don’t recognise this number at all.

My initial experience with this number was a rather pushy telemarketer attempting to peddle their wares, which I promptly declined. After a couple of days, I found myself receiving calls from the same number once more, but this time it was peculiar—there was a complete silence on the other end, and the call would disconnect within mere seconds. Quite strange, if you ask me!

A number I don't recognise, which raises some worries.

This number has rung me three times this week alone. Having gone through the comments, I’ve now decided to block it.

Keeps cutting off! It’s absolutely infuriating!

I received a call and they were looking for someone else, so I informed them that they had the wrong number.

Received a call on my mobile about a funeral plan. The chap mentioned my name – I’m rather puzzled as to how he obtained that information!

It appears that a company specialising in funeral plans has been making unsolicited calls.

I picked up the phone and casually greeted, “Leicestershire Police, how may I assist you?” To my surprise, they just cut off the call without saying a word! Quite odd, don’t you think?!

They rang, but then abruptly disconnected the call.

I received a rather unexpected call from a funeral service. They claimed I had filled out a survey, but I certainly haven't! How bizarre!

Received a call from 0800 047 8056 regarding insurance for tumble dryers, but to be blunt, I'm not keen on it at all.

The chap from that same firm wouldn’t budge – he just wouldn’t acknowledge that the individual he was meant to be reaching out to wasn’t me at all.

Look into the various choices for funerals. Now inaccessible.

After browsing this site, my hunch has been validated. The number 08000478056 has called my mobile three days in a row, always around the same time in the late morning. I chose not to pick up, and each instance resulted in no voicemail being left behind. It's fantastic to have this information at hand.

Ringing me multiple times each day, without fail.

I received a call today around 5 o'clock from someone purporting to be with a funeral price comparison service. I asked them to take my number off their list and promptly hung up. This isn't my first encounter with these nuisances; they often use a variety of different numbers, much like many other spammers and scammers out there. I've now added them to my block list!

Received a call from 08000478056, and the chap on the other end was inquiring about someone named Shawn Flynn. He assured me they'd take my number off their list, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I received a call from 0800 0478056, but I chose not to answer as I certainly didn't anticipate getting any free phone calls at half past six this evening! I advise against answering; just block the number, otherwise they'll keep ringing incessantly with their automated system.

Promoting burial arrangements, are we? Goodness, what a delightful approach! It's almost as if they think we can’t make our own choices without a little pressure, a dash of sarcasm, and a sprinkle of rudeness thrown in. Truly charming, isn’t it?

This number has been persistently ringing me. The first occasion I answered, but the line was silent. The second time, I opted to ignore the call as I tend not to pick up unless I recognise the caller. A mere couple of minutes later, they attempted to reach me once more.

This number continuously calls, yet when I pick up, all I receive is a pre-recorded message. Strangely, it’s identical to what they leave if I don’t pick up. Clearly, they’re employing a power dialler to bombard many phone lines at once.

I’ve had a couple of rather bothersome calls today—sounded like one of those automated spam machines that tries to trick you with awkward silences, making it seem somewhat human. My mobile, which is with Vodafone, has flagged it as spam, thankfully!
