She rambled on about a PPI claim from 2020 and said I got about £60. I told her I never got £60 and never made any PPI claims that year. I said I don’t share personal info on the phone and hung up. Definitely a scam. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be legal reps trying to help with an HMRC claim I never made. Then they mentioned some old PPI claim I did years ago with my bank. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Seems like a total scam to me.

The individual who rang me was representing a firm that purportedly deals with PPI claims linked to M&S Bank from three years back. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name of the company he mentioned. This was the fourth time they've contacted me, and I found them rather insistent. They didn’t ask for my bank details, but instead requested my National Insurance number, which I declined to provide. I have a strong suspicion that this could be a dodgy call, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number.
