10 yearsI encountered a rather dodgy message claiming that my Mac was compromised. It mentioned that my unencrypted password was being sent to some lengthy URL and urged me to call a number or risk my device being disabled to prevent any further damage to their network. Quite the story, isn't it? I promptly switched off my WiFi and shut down the computer. Clear as day-it’s a scam!
