I get calls from this number like all the time, almost every couple of days. Thankfully, I’ve got caller ID, so I just save the number in my phone and ignore it. No point in answering.

I got a call from a nice woman with a Scottish accent claiming she worked for ABC Lawyers. She asked if I'd heard about the new laws that let people quit their Timeshare contracts and get compensation. I told her I was quite happy with my Timeshare and had no trouble leaving if I wanted to. She said ABC had been told to get in touch with me but promised to remove me from their list. Just as I write this, another call came through - from an Asian lady offering to stop nuisance calls! I told her politely that I’m already on the TPS and found her call a bit of a nuisance herself. The number was 01959532493. She might be on the up-and-up, but I always go by the US style: "don’t call us, we’ll call you." I’m about to check this number out since it looks a lot like some others I've blocked before.

Got a call at noon today, the person just kept saying "hello, hello" but I didn’t answer and then they hung up. Earlier, someone else called from 025288153258, sounded like they had an Asian accent and kept ringing asking for Mrs Robinson. When I told them I was Lady de Deauville, they just dropped the phone. Weird day for calls!

This lot goes by Timeshare Compensation or ABC Lawyers, but honestly, they're just fronts for a well-known timeshare con artist.

Timeshare payout offers.
I even paid an initial fee of £95 before thinking twice.
Then it hit me - probably a con. Contacted my credit card provider straight away. Card got blocked before any money left my account. The firm phoned me back within 5 minutes but I just didn't answer. Pretty sure they realised my card was blocked. Watch out folks, I was so desperate to get out I almost fell for it.. Don’t let yourself be fooled.

I got in touch with an ad about selling our timeshare in Bali, Indonesia. The lady on the phone was quite courteous and mentioned we might get some compensation if we agree to spend a week in Tenerife. She gave me the dates and said we’d be staying in a one-bedroom flat, costing £418. We’re both pensioners, so we’re unsure if this is genuine or just another sneaky scam trying to trap us. She’s meant to call back tomorrow afternoon, about 2pm UK time on the 7th of November. If anyone has any advice or knows anything about this, I’d really appreciate the help.

Avoid this firm at all costs, they’re either scammers or some dodgy timeshare rip-off group. Definitely not worth getting involved with.
