9 yearsI accidentally gave remote access to my laptop after answering a call from this number, and soon after, my computer was locked with a password. They then demanded £99.99 and my bank info to unlock it, telling me to ring another number first. That second number was 08081016211, and the bloke on the phone said his name was Logan. I’m usually pretty clued up on these things, but they really made it sound legit. Thankfully, they didn’t manage to get my bank details or any cash.
